The shiny new white iPhone 4 is actually 0.2mm thicker than the original black iPhone 4, roughly 9.3mm (black) to 9.5mm (white). This should not be a factor in how it fits in “most” iPhone 4 cases, but they do have exceptions. To give you an idea of the difference as far as the way the white iPhone 4 fits into a case would be the equivalent to having a front and back Invisible Shield or BodyGuardz protective film installed on the black iPhone 4. If the black iPhone 4 with the full body protection film installed will not fit into a certain case then more than likely the naked white iPhone 4 will not fit either.
