An image of the iPhone 5 glass screen has appeared on a Chinese reseller of Apple parts website. The screen appears to be similar to that of the iPhone 4 but the actual screen portion of the glass seems to be much larger than the iPhone 4′s. It looks like it could support the rumors of a 4 inch screen coming to the next generation iPhone.

Apple is said to be working on a completely re-designed iPhone for Summer 2011 with a 4 inch display to compete with the larger screens found on the Android based smartphones. The iPhone 5 is supposed to cost less and feature a new integrated SIM card that is easily configurable on any carrier.

The picture of the iPhone 5 digitizer also appears to have a thinner bezel on all sides. This is another feature that helps support the rumored larger screen with edge to edge display.

According to the flying rumors, the iPhone is supposed to be coming to Verizon this Summer. Then another rumor is saying that due to AT&T’s iPad deal, iPhone on Verizon was pushed back to 2011. Which is followed by another rumor that the iPhone on Verizon will be the “one more thing” at the WWDC 2010.

Forget it, since 2007 all we get is rumor after rumor after another rumor…….. It’s almost certain that a CDMA and LTE iPhone are hidden deep beneath the Apple vault in Cupertino. Apple can release a CDMA or LTE iPhone whenever they feel like it. Verizon will get an iPhone whenever it’s contractually allowed and when they come to a financial agreement.
When it comes to Apple and the iPhone, don’t believe anything until Steve Jobs holds it in his hand and gives a powerpoint presentation about it, until then it’s all media hype. It wouldn’t surprise me that the new iPhone 4G that was left in a bar was an arranged skit that Apple put together to get the iPhone hype and all the iPhone addicts all worked and anxious until the final release date.

Scott Moritz from TheStreet’s reports on a analyst note from Ashok Kumar, an analyst claiming that Apple has signed an agreement with Sony for an 8-megapixel camera sensor for the 2011 iPhone.

Hello Sony (SNE), goodbye OmniVision (OVTI). Apple has picked Sony’s 8-megapixel camera chip for the 2011 iPhone, according to supply and manufacturing sources, said Rodman Renshaw analyst Ashok Kumar.

If true, it’s good news for iPhone fans looking for more photo shooting power on their phones. But the move would displace OmniVision, Apple’s current camera supplier to the iPhone.

The company Omnivision reported to have received orders for the 5-megapixel camera sensors for the next generation iPhone expected to be release later this Summer. Currently the iPhone 3GS has a 3.2 megapixel sensor.

As always there are Apple rumors flying through cyberspace, but this time of year with Apple releasing their new products, the rumors are more abundant. If you heard any iPhone rumors post a comment and let us know.

Now that the craze over the iPhone 3GS has all but simmered down, onlookers are wondering what Apple has in store for 2010. And if rumors are true, we might just see a new iPhone next year in the iPhone 4G. All these speculations are coming after discovering a booked “Corporate Event” at the Moscone Center Calendar from June 28 to July 2.

Basing it on experience, people are anticipating the launch of the iPhone 4G at the WWDC 2010, the same time that the iPhone 3GS made its debut at the WWDC 2009. What do you think? The idea is not that far off..

According to an “industry executive familiar with Netflix’s plans” video streaming from Netflix may be coming to the iPhone. The streaming will work with Netflix’s existing Watch Instantly service, which means that subscribers will be able to stream movies directly to their iPhone.

Sounds like this could be a nice perk for Netflix subscribers and possibly a way to push current subscribers to upgrade to a higher monthly plan so they will be allowed to stream a little more (for those unfamiliar with the Watch Instantly service, the amount of hours that you can stream per month is set by your monthly rental plan with the highest plan allowing unlimited streaming) per month.

Anyway, assuming this app does see the inside of the App Store, it would make a perfect combination with the existing (third party) app PhoneFlix. Given that, users would be able to manage their account and queue as well as watch movies while on the go.

Additionally, this should go without saying, especially after we saw the restrictions with other video apps such as SlingPlayer, that the streaming will be restricted to a Wi-Fi connection. Finally, as you would expect, a Netflix rep could not confirm or deny this rumor.
