Cube Dog, virtual pet app gets an update and now can talk back.

Playstation App for iPhone and iPod Touch

Sony announced that it is preparing to launch the official Playstation app for the iPhone and iPod Touch. The app will be free in the App Store and will feature:

- Check out your PlayStation Network trophies and keep up to date with your friends’ games and online — status.
- Discover all the latest games, news and hardware for your PlayStation 3, PSP and PlayStation 2.
- Read all the announcements on the European PlayStation.Blog.
- Share your favourite products or news with your friends on Facebook, Twitter or via e-mail.

The app will require iOS 4 or higher.

With the launch of the iPad, Netflix is becoming more popular on portable devices. Netflix subscribers have been dreaming to be able to watch it’s library of streaming movies on a device other than a laptop or netbook. Iphone owners have been wanting this for a long time now, the recent iPad-only app finally turns things around for Apple’s long loved product that truly captures the essence of being mobile. It was stated by Steve Swasey, VP of Corporate Communications, that Netflix is coming to the iPhone and iPod Touch for a truly mobile movie viewing experience.

Get the Super Bowl Official Program iPhone App

The official NFL Super Bowl XLIV program app is the ultimate companion and keepsake for the big game, being played Sunday, Feb. 7, at Sun Life Stadium in South Florida. This digital version includes beautiful photos, rosters and detailed information on the two teams playing for the Vince Lombardi Trophy, a complete recap of the 2009 season, and a history of the first 43 Super Bowls played. Among the features included is an essay by “CSI: Miami” star David Caruso about his experience at the last Super Bowl played in South Florida, Super reflections from Hall of Fame coach/broadcaster John Madden, and a look at the great fourth-quarter finishes in recent Super Bowl history.

World Of Warcraft iPhone App Released

Blizzard has released the first official World Of Warcraft iPhone application. Similar to the WoW Armory website, the app enables user to keep track of their characters, plan adventures, and follow the activities of their guild. Users can view all character data including statistics, equipment, and achievements. Guild statistics are also accessible, as well as a users in-game calendar, and the leader board. The included talent calculator assists in the selection of specs for characters.

WoW Mobile Armory differs from third-party applications by tying the users WoW account or Battle.net account to the application, enabling users to view account information.

WoW Mobile Army in available in a variety of languages and requires iPhone OS 2.2 and a WoW account or a Battle.net account. The application is immediately available from the App Store for free.
