Reuters is reporting that Apple will be releasing a cheaper 8GB iPhone 4 alongside the iPhone 5. This more affordable version of the iPhone 4 will replace the iPhone 3GS which is currently geared to the user that wants an iPhone but doesn’t necessarily want the latest more expensive model. The 8GB iPhone 4 will make the iPhone appeal to a broader spectrum of consumers. Apple’s genius marketing team knows that if they get a person to use an iPhone for any length of time, they will more than likely be a returning iPhone user version after version. Having said that, an iPhone 4 with 8GB of storage at a very competitive price would still be a very compelling device for many.
