The next generation iPhone…

The next generation iPhone…..
Inside the new iPhone you will find the Apple A5 dual-core processor just like the one in the iPad 2 foe super fast performance. Unlike the iPad 2, the new iPhone sports 1GB RAM, which means better browsing, gaming and most importantly better performance with the new background tasks that Apple will introduce in iOS 5.
The next generation iPhone will also feature an upgraded 8MP camera that will take incredible high resolution pictures even in low light conditions due to the backlit sensor. A panorama photography feature has been found in iOS 5 so the new iPhone will have the hardware to support this.
The new iPhone also contains Qualcomm Gobi Baseband chips that will allow it to work on both the GSM and CDMA networks.
The biggest feature for Apple with their new iPhone is the software called Assistant. This software is a Siri-inspired, system-wide voice navigation system. The only downfall is that the iPhone 3GS and iPhone 4 users will not be able to join in the fun with this incredible feature. The Assistant software requires the A5 CPU and the additional RAM to function properly.
The new Siri-based Assistant software is the biggest game changer in this years iPhone. It seems like Steve Jobs was right when he said this will be the year of software and not design. The Assistant software is the evolution of the Voice Control function that was introduced with the iPhone 3GS.
How Assistant works:
You first hold down the home button for a couple of seconds to activate assistant. It is much quicker that the old Voice Control feature because of the A5 chip and more RAM.
A cool animated microphone will slide up from the bottom and cover up only about a fourth of the display, similar to the multi-task switcher function.
Assistant is packed with endless possibilities, so Apple has made it easier and has placed a small “info” button where you can click to view the most common spoken commands.
The Assistant interface is a silver microphone icon with an orbiting purple glow. The glow lets you know your iPhone is ready to receive commands.
Assistant also integrates with many other aspects of the iPhone, for example, one could say make an appointment with the marketing agency for 7:30 Pm and Assistant will create an appointment in the calendar. For noting events, Assistant allows users to set reminders for the iOS 5 Reminders Application. For example, you could say “remind me to print the coupons before going to the grocery store”. Another example of the system wide integration is with the iOS Maps application. A user could ask “How do I get to the Louisiana Superdome” and the Assistant will use the GPS function and provide detailed directions.
Another cool feature about the intelligent Assistant software found only on the new iPhone is the ability to create and send an SMS or iMessage just by speaking to it. For example, you can say “send a text to Richie saying I kicked your butt at Madden 12 last night” and it will send it.
Assistant is literally your personal assistant on your phone. The speech interpretation is extremely accurate and users really do not even have to speak very clearly or very slow for the phone to recognize it. You simply just speak to it like you are talking to another person.
Another feature of Assistant that is worth mentioning is “Find my Friends”. Basically if a friend of mine wants to instantly know where I am, they could say where is The iPhone Addict and Assistant will locate me and share my location. This also works for spouses, so if you are doing something you shouldn’t be make sure you take advantage of the privacy settings.
Assistant also has integration with Wolfram Alpha. Wolfram Alpha is an online computational knowledge system where you can ask your iPhone a question of all types and get an instant response.
In addition to the new Assistant software, the new iPhone will also feature Nuance speech to text integration. A user will just tap the microphone icon, speak, and the speech will then become text on the iPhone. This happens in less than a second and is very accurate.
As far as the Hardware design goes for the next generation iPhone, it is hard to come to a conclusion. Apple seems to have smartened up and stuffed the guts of the next generation iPhone into an iPhone 4 casing to throw off leaks. There are quite a few next generation iPhones floating around out there, but they look identical to the current iPhone 4 design. So it is hard to say if Apple is going to use the same design with a better internal makeup for the next generation iPhone i.e. iPhone 4S or surprise us come October 4th and release a totally redesigned phone i.e. iPhone 5. We will find out soon enough so stick with T.i.A. for the latest iPhone 5,iPhone 4S news and rumors.

I am looking into iPhone Photography now. I know this is late but still its better late then never. Let’s see how much I will succeed.
