The iPhone 4G prototype thief is caught

Police Closed in on Brian Hogan the 21 year old man that found the iPhone 4G prototype in a bar. Even though Hogan knew the person/profile of the person that lost the iPhone, he still refused to return it.

Hogan tried to get the iPhone 4G to work by plugging it into his roommate Katherine Martinsons computer after Apple had remotely wiped it clean. Martinson then became nervous that Apple would be able to trace back to her through the IP address of her computer. She then called Apple to clear herself of any type of criminal behavior. Martinson informed them that Hogan was offering the prototype to gadget blogs, where it finally made its way to Gizmodo where they supposedly awarded Hogan $5,000 for his find with an extra bonus after the iPhone 4G was released.

WOW, this is getting crazy.. I guess this is really the real deal and might just be the iPhone we will be getting in 2010.
