Sling Media has made available SlingPlayer Mobile for the Apple iPad, allowing users to watch content streaming from their cable service provider,TiVo device or their DVR. You can purchase it in the App Store for $29.99. If you are on the go and are a sports fanatic this is worth every penny.
SlingPlayer was released for iOS devices in Jan 2010 but was limited to the iPhone and iPad Touch. This version is a whole new app made specifically for the iPad, so even though you purchased it for your iPhone or iPod Touch….you will need to purchase it again for your iPad.
$30 seems too expensive an app, even if its worth it. Nobody buys an app that expensive. Most of the iPad apps sold are impulse buys, and $30 is no impulse buy.So I prefer this free apps for watching video……….
