* AT&T will be changing their texting plans as of January 23rd. They will be doing away with the current plans which is 200 messages for $5 per month and 1500 messages for $15 per month. The new plan will be a single plan of 1000 messages for $10 per month and unlimited messages for $20 per month.
AT&T is saying that any customer that is currently on one of the plans being discontinued will be grandfathered in and be able to stay on their current plan without changing.

* Best Buy is reporting that the training documents for its retail staff are offering arguments noting that Verizon is spending a lot of time and money advertising their 4G network, the Verizon iPhone will already be outdated at its launch (Very True).
Verizon’s entire presence at CES last week was focused on one thing and one thing alone: 4G. Its LTE network is now live in 38 markets and a flurry of 4G phones will launch in the coming months. But their iPhone… the smartphone millions of Verizon Wireless subscribers have been dying for… is a 3G device.
Best Buy will not be carrying the Verizon iPhone for sometime after the device’s launch. At the sametime the company is arguing against the AT&T iPhone, which is also a 3G device and is currently available at Best Buy.
