Possibly the next generation iPhone is what game testers are calling the iPhone 4s. It is an iPhone 4 with a speedier A5 chipset specifically focused for mobile gaming on the iPhone.

The person who chose to share this information with us calls it the ‘iPhone 4S’, though the device itself only has typical Apple prototype nomenclature. He also shared that the device spends its evenings in a safe in the company’s offices.

Apparently it is identical to the iPhone 4, except for the special version of iOS 4 in order to support the dual core Apple A5 chipset and its faster processor with 9x graphics performance boost.

Reports from notable sources are reporting that the next generation iPhone will be launched in September 2011 and will look exactly like the iPhone 4 on the outside. The differences will be similar to the iPhone 3G to 3GS transition, all the changes are in the inside. The next gen 2011 iPhone is expected to be called iPhone 4s and will have the speedier dual core processor and will have the A5 chipset, 8MP camera, available 64GB storage space, and this time available in the white color on launch day of course.
