@conradev an iS developer revealed a hidden panoramic picture mode in iOS 4. The setting can be enabled by setting ‘EnableFirebreak’ to YES in com.apple.mobileslideshow.plist.

Apple had been testing the panoramic mode as a possible feature in iOS 5 but for whatever reason they left it out of the final release.

The user can capture individual photos from left to right and the software will piece it all together making a panoramic style photo.
