The slider style cases seem to be scratching the aluminum trim ring around the iPhone 4. I personally had this problem with the Incase Sliders, but other sources have reported this has also happened with other brand names of slider style cases. The look of the Incase slider for iPhone 4 is sleek and minimal, but I noticed two BIG problems, One is that the Incase Slider peels up “most” screen protectors, I know Zagg has produced a design that will work with the slider, so that problem can be avoided. But in the meantime it kind of sucked that the screen protector that I finally got on perfect with no bubbles,no dust under and as straight as an arrow got destroyed when I put this case on. The second problem on the other hand cannot be avoided. When I took the Incase Slider off to change to my present case, I noticed visible scratches on both sides of the of the aluminum antenna ring. I know most of you are thinking big deal, some fine scratching on the side of the iPhone. While this is not a HUGE issue, it’s just the fact that you spend $35 on a piece of plastic to prevent scratching and damage to your device, and the case is actually what “caused” the damage. I purchased a Piel Frama classic magnetic case for my iPhone 4. This is a case I used for my 3GS and it protected it very very well all while looking and feeling amazing. It does cost a bit more than the average person spends on an iPhone case but this case will last you longer than the life of your iPhone 4 I promise you that. The leather actually feels and smells just like the leather that is in my Mercedes CLS 500. I wish i could have purchased this case the day I got my iPhone 4 but I had to wait until they had them made, perfected, and in production.
