Will the iPhone 4 replace your Flip mino HD video recorder?

The flip mino HD video recorder is rated as one of the best mini HD video recorders on the market, it takes incredible video, small enough to slip in your pocket and with the “flip” out USB connector, it is a breeze to transfer music to your computer.
With the release of the amazing iPhone 4, there is not much this little piece of technology can’t do or replace. The iPhone 4 can replace your still shot camera due to the quality 5 mega-pixel camera, it can of course replace your iPod, now in my opinion the iPhone 4 can also replace your pocket sized video camera. In my case, it will be replacing a Flip mino HD. You can have all your tech devices embedded into an ultra thin sleek looking device.

The iPhone 4 beats the Flip Mino HD in most of the technical categories, the only reason one might not choose the iPhone 4 as a replacement to their Flip Mino HD is:
1) not available for an upgrade or locked in an agreement with their cellular company
2) do not want to have their video camera and their phone as one device
So the obvious answer is, YES. The iPhone 4 can replace your Flip Mino HD and you will still get the same quality HD video. Leave a comment and let us know if you plan on replacing your video recorder since you got an iPhone 4.
You're the first place I found that gives an estimate of how many hours of recording – presumably several hours if the 4 GB Flip gives 4! I need a new camera and a new video recorder – and my wife is nagging for an iPhone – so we'll be getting an iPhone for all 3 uses for sure.
Sorry, I meant 2 hr on the 4 GB Flip, not 4… but from that I reckon even with photos and music etc you'd easily get 4-6 hr and with the 32 GB model, you could record your whole holiday without uploading to a computer.
