Boost your classic iPod to a whopping 220GB

If you are a music lover and just want a device to store a ton of music on it, then this is for you. Apple last updated the iPod classic in September 2009, which boosted the devices capacity from 120GB to 160GB and then nothing else happened after that.

Now a new line of 1.8 inch hard drives from Toshiba could give your iPod classic an updated 220GB capacity. If you do not need quite that much they do have 2 other sizes to choose from, 160GB, 200GB, and 220GB. This is a direct replacement to the one that is in your iPod classic now, just with more storage capacity.

I guess Apple pretty much gave up on this device and is allowing a third party company (Toshiba) to come in and offer an updated hard drive. Apple does not want to release a whole new device just for a bigger hard drive. There is just not enough revenue and demand with the iPod classic. What do you think? Are you interested in the iPod classic.
