Tweetie 2 disappears from the app store, this could mean Twitter for iPhone is on the way.
Loren Brichter, the developer of Tweetie announced that Twitter was buying Tweetie as the official iPhone app and he was joining their mobile division. The Mac version will continue and they said an iPad version is on the way.
TechCrunch states that the new Twitter for iPhone could possibly be a universal binary that works for both iPhone and iPad.
