Mobile fitness apps for mobile devices have drastically changed the way people create, record and reach their fitness goals. Here is a look at the top rated iOS fitness apps.
Runkeeper (Free)

Runkeeper was one of the early running apps for the iPhone. Runkeeper combines GPS tracking, music integration, music management and more into a polished application. It saves all the data that is either manually entered by you or which is automatically collected from the software, is then aggregated on the phone and on the Runkeeper dashboard- accessible through the Runkeeper website. You can keep your stats to yourself or share them with your friends on facebook and twitter.
iFitness $1.99

This App is great for tracking weight lifting and stationary fitness routines. iFitness has a catalog of over 300 exercises ranging from cable machines and free weights to exercises you can do without any type of equipment. If you need help setting up a weight lifting routine, iFitness includes 20 routines designed by fitness experts. iFitness has clear pictures and video showing proper form to show you how to do each exercise correctly and safely. When your finished working out you can save the routine and record your progress.
Endomondo (Free)

Endomondo is an application that would be considered a fitness social network. With this application installed on your device, you can track where you run, how long you run, check your personal best times and share them with friends. From the Endomondo site, you can view exercise summaries, issue invites and challenges to get your friends involved in your fitness push, and participate in site wide challenges. Endomondo is a cross-platform running app with a huge network of fellow runners built right in.
Sporty Pal (Free)

Fire up Sporty Pal when you’re in motion, whether running or rolling blading and it measures your distance, speed, calories burned, and more. Later you can sync your data up to your web-based profile and see all the stats gathered from your exercise routine charted out. If your an outdoor sports enthusiast and you cover a lot of ground hiking or mountain biking Sporty Pal can display your route on a topographical map for a 3D-style representation of your exercise adventures.

Thanks for the review. I like such useful apps. That's great that there exist mobile applications which help us to keep healthy and fit.
This is cool. Also may want to try iTrakMe a new iphone app that just came out. Does your time, distance, speed, Cals, but also does a bunch of other GPS related things. Its free with an upgrade option, which is well worth it. Check out itrakme.blogspot.com for coupons for the upgrade.
