TechCrunch links up with Richard Hong a student from Carnegie Mellon. Hong is the creator of a pixel perfect rendition of Apple’s Mac OS X Dashboard widget platform on the iPad. The video below shows widgets working and being added from the web and managed on the iPad.

Hopefully Hong will submit this to the app store, and given that the rights to many if not all those widgets are owned by other people. Were not even positive this app could even be submitted, but we would like to see something like this from Apple. Check out the video…
