Japanese blog Macotakara reported that Apple is gearing up for a 2012 release of both the iPad 3 and iPhone 5.The iPhone 5 will be 4G LTE and the iPad 3 will be on NTT DoCoMo the popular mobile phone operator in Japan.

The Fall 2012 timeframe for a 4G LTE iPhone 5 sounds right as it’s about a year since the October 14 debut of iPhone 4S. The carrier’s president Kiyoyuki Tsujimura and vice president Takashi Yamada allegedly met with Apple CEO Tim Cook mid-November to discuss the deal.

The latest iPhone 5 rumor is that the totally redesigned iPhone 5 was to be released during the Summer of 2012, this seemed to soon after the release of the iPhone 4S. The Fall 2012 would put them right on an annual schedule that hopefully Apple sticks to in the upcoming years.
