The Wall Street Journal started the first Apple Television rumors with an Apple internal television project. WSJ claims that Apple has been in discussion with media executives at several popular companies about their vision for the future of TV. Eddy Cue, the senior Vice President for Apple reported to have outlined new ways Apple technology could be used on phones,tablets,and TV’s.

In at least one meeting, Apple described future television technology that would respond to users’ voices and movements, one of the people said. Such technology, which Apple indicated may take longer than some of its other ideas, might allow users to use their voices to search for a show or change channels.

We are not sure what content will be shown on the new device, as Apple has not pursued any content deals at this time. Apple has considered licensing content directly, to create a subscription TV service.
